Leeds and Liverpool canal

Late morning trip to Pennington flash this morning, for a change we walked around the flashes rather than to the hides (figured the birds would be sheltering from the winds anyway). Up to the canal and along then around the golf course. Intermittent rain and winds did help for photography so I snapped this with my phone during a dry spell.
Drove home through torrential rain... Timed just right!
