Blue-Eyed Skewbald

The grass at the horse sanctuary is still very sparse. This blue-eyed skewbald pony is enjoying some nice fresh hay for breakfast. 

Storm Ali has been causing havoc all over the country. Nothing too severe here other than casting quinces to the ground. I picked up the windfalls and took them indoors where they perfumed the whole house. I stewed them on my new hob, pureed them and have put them in my new freezer to use as an ingredient later. They're strange fruit, preparing them is like cutting into chunks of wood. :)
