A very windy day with an odd shower, mostly sunny.

Into town to take two tops back to M&S - sleeves too long!!  On the walk from the car (buses were running late) we saw a book sale here, Westborough Methodist Church, so we called in on the way back.

Bought three books and had a coffee.   We were welcomed and got chatting to discover that the lady serving was from Huddersfield and knew some members of the Choir Alan sang in!  We also discovered they have a '60+ Youth Club' where there are two Bowls mats, table tennis and Pool.   So I think we may give the bowling and table tennis a go next year.

This evening we were at the Stephen Joseph Theatre to see a production of Alan Ayckbourn's Joking Apart.   Again a very good production.   Not as side sitting humour as the Thirty Nine Steps but still good.

At home now with a glass of wine watching the tribute to Denis Norden.   I used to like the show It'll be alright on the night.
