Dark nights.....

A wee bit wet and windy today.
The first soaking was bringing a cow in to calve with the calf coming backwards. Got it out alive but mummy was a wee bit excitable !
Onto the second dry hat and coat of the day .
Brian from Border Livestock in to see some cattle we hope to sell. By the time we had been round them all in the howling wind and horizontal rain it was time for dry hat and coat number three..
Jim M in to see about a job replacing some concrete slats in a shed, had it all worked out timescale wise , then phoned the manufacturers and the slats haven’t even been made yet ! Grrr.
A trip to the chiro tonight just to click everything back into place.
Still blowing a hoolie outside, sounds more like mid winter than September !
