Praying Mantis

My hubby told me, as I exited the car a little bit ago, that he'd scared a praying mantis when he was watering and it was on the ground.  I hauled out my trusty iPhone and as this mantis climbed up the bricks on our house, I was able to get some shots of him.  He's sort of mixed in with our Foxtail grass, so that's not all him/her.  Don't often see these guys so that was kind of fun.  Check out my photo I put up for yesterday.  I think it's kind of interesting. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2489220187534918808
