These little guys are trying in vain to load up on as much seed and nuts as possible before the cold weather sets in.  This one really was a little vacuum cleaner! He had bottomless cheeks  ; )

By the way, the mystery of the "Heron of the Woods" has been solved.  Sadly, the heron has discovered that there is a food source in the woods that is plentiful....chipmunks.  :(  I shall be discouraging him the next time I see him....

Good news...my daughter got a job today as a Fine Arts assistant at the college.  Yay!!
