GRACEFUL EGRET...

.... needed to "tick a few" jobs off the list today but on the way back home called by the mighty Nepean River and found this egret having lunch in the shallows nearby.

Then whooska, took off and gracefully glided by! It all happened in a flash and did not have time to bring the lens back in a touch!

Oh well thought it looked pretty good as is... and if you have time check out this little guy!
