Delight
The Uxbridge English Dictionary defines delight as "to make dark".
This headlight bulb delighted me this morning.
I had a spare in the car as this seems a frustratingly regular thing, but, as usual, you need a double jointed steel fingered gnome with Herculean strength to remove and replace said bulb. Fingers are still sore.

Not been a good day, electrically speaking. M's fridge is cutting power to the house at irregular intervals, then sitting there perfectly innocently when the Electrician is testing everything.

Note for those whose first language is not English - the Uxbridge Dictionary is is a 'joke' book - please don't think you've just found a new English word!
