Here's a hilarious thing. Set off for a 10am meeting in Ayr at 8.00. Got 2 junctions along the bypass by 9.15. Start to a frustrating day which I chased until hometime. Back to the office by 2.00. Home by 7 - no dinner yet, but I have made more jam.

Good news from the garage. The man fixed the deer damage and found a place for the plastic pipey thing and didn't charge us.

Here's the Macrae monument in Monkton taken from the roadside. Macrae, you'll learn Here was President of Madras and built Orangefield, which is best known for having been converted into a control tower for Prestwick. Worth a look and a laugh out loud if you're me.
