Pochard Pair....

Tried out the new camera today for the first time at Horsham Nature reserve, found some pretty special birds over there.
Not these little guys, but This Herring Gull, Argentatus from Scandinavia and this Mediterranian Gull, the first time that it has been spotted on the lake at Horsham.
Of course, I didn't know what they were but two Rangers were very excited over the find.
One had been called whilst he was shopping in Tesco, and he just left his shopping in the middle of the aisle and raced to the lake.

I was happy enough to get these pair as they came within about 50m of the hide.
