Salute to the 40s

Stepped back in time today with my friend Jules for the Salute to the 40s event at the Dockyard Chatham. A bit of a contrast to yesterday’s rap music video!

Some great costumes, military vehicles, vintage clothing stalls and musical entertainment Glenn Miller style set the scene.

Met Ralph the dog sat in his Willis Jeep and enjoyed an impromptu performance from a barber shop quartet ‘Puttin’ on the Blitz’ with friends Brian and Cherie impressing the crowds.
