Mon petit chou-My sweet little cabbage/cream puff

Branch of decorative cabbage with pretty purple core, isn't it funny that in French calling somebody 'my little cabbage' is a term of endearment? (apparently it's more 'my sweet little cream puff' as that's a chou too)
