The Atomium

We got the 'hop on hop off' tourist bus today which took us to some of the more far flung sights around Brussels. This structure was interesting to look at but I have to confess to having no desire to go up it. The full picture is in the extras.
There was some sort of folk festival happening in Grand Place which we will investigate tomorrow.
Went to a waffle shop and succumbed to a ridiculously calorific treat. it rounded off the day nicely.
