My sweet girl had feature in my 2500th blip!

We got Kiki's histology results back today, sadly it was exactly what we expected, malignant melanoma. Given that it is extremely rare, to the point of there being almost no literature on it, it is hard to know exactly what to do next. From the limited information out there, however, the prognosis does not appear to be good. Our vet has arranged for us to be seen by the exotics department at the Royal Dick Veterinary School in Edinburgh next week. We're hoping she can have a CT to see what's going on, that will give us a better idea of any treatment options open to us. Whatever we do Kiki's best interests will be the most important thing, I have learned that she is the boss of all things!
