Golden Shoes, Aylesford

A new low in commuting today - four hours forty minutes for a total journey distance of about eighty miles door to door. So joyful that I had a massive smile on my face nearly all day - NOT!
Morning - tree on the line, twenty minutes late getting into Victoria - blissful. Evening - missed connecting train by about ten seconds, next train cancelled (but of course, and on a Friday), thirty five minutes late getting home. I needed an intravenous alcoholic drink to calm myself down when I finally got off the train, by which time the full bloody moon was out!
