Wotton Blues Festival

The third Wotton Blues Festival got under way this evening with the opening act, Django. 

I was very taken with the keyboard player's red feathered cap. It was something to focus on while my ears burst. ;-) Yes, of course I took ear plugs for this intimate venue, but Janet didn't; and I'm such a gentleman. And old. But possibly not as old as some of the bluesmen here. Just goes to show.

Earlier in the day we took Charlotte into Bristol, she being very happy after an excellent launch conference at the new Milner Centre for Evolution in Bath. There may have been a couple of beers, and I may be a bit more lightweight nowadays, but at least they were all very fine beers.
