My big bro

Sorting out the final details for our epic adventure next weekend.

I will be spending the weekend in the hills with him and my nephew doing the ROC Mountain Marathon.

It's being held in the Northern Fells in the Lake District.

The last time we did something like this together was ten years ago when we did the OMM Mountain Marathon (2008) and it was literally a wash out.
100mph winds and cars flooded out, horrendous weather.
The event was cancelled after spending the first day in the eye of the storm.
We spent the night in emergency accommodation along with hundreds of other competitors.
That is the only time, in it's 50 years, that it had to be called off!

We never completed it.


He's just informed me that there is another storm coming our way (well, down that way!) called Storm Callum...!!!
We're hoping it's passed by next weekend so we don't have a repeat performance!!

By the way.... my brother never does a straight face for a photo.... he doesn't actually look this wierd.... Well.... Actually......
