Friday, Oh, Friday

After a bit of a crazy, old day at work, I wanted to see if I could see some of the herons again. This squirrel must have found a discarded peanut at the entrance to the area as he was the first 'greeter' - blip sorted.

In extras, I did get an Egret teaching a Master Class on how to swallow catfish whole.  Although, I feel for the fish who become the dinner, I am always amazed at how the birds can efficiently catch and flip the fish so that they swallow them head first. The marvels of nature...
