Chincherinchee

I went into town this morning to have my hair trimmed then I had a look in all the florists for some flowers to take with to a camera club tonight. We're doing our macro and focus stacking talk and we offer to let folks have a go at a bit of practical work in the second half.

This chincherinchee was one of the flowers I chose for us to take along. I liked it because it has very few florets open just now. it's a flower I don't often see so I've put the complete flower head in the Extras. I remember mum planting some in the garden when I was a child, the name stuck in my head.

The say the picked flowers last a few weeks. You may see it again!
