Film Festival ends.


Each year we run a film festival in our town for locally made short films. Tonight is our "Red carpet " evening when the awards will be made. It is in the town hall and we all get flashed up into evening wear and pretend we are in Hollywood !
Speaking of films I recently saw "Cold War" as part of the NZ film  festival. Filmed in black and white  it is visually ravishing and has a love story which was very well told. Definitely one of my favourite films in recent years.Another very good one we saw is "McQueen" about fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
