Op op op op oppan Grandad Style

This is Mrs H's father. He came over tonight to support Crewe Alexandra in their game at Bramall Lane. He works in the control room at Gresty Road and has been going there for years. So tonight's game had a lot of family interest :)

All I can say is WOW - what a game! Given that Crewe had only scored 2 goals on their visits to the Lane since 1896, there was always the chance that it could be a walk-over for the Blades. In fact, when United went 2 goals up in the first half hour, it certainly looked like that would be the case. However, a crazy last three minutes to the first half saw Crewe pull it back to 2-2 followed by a very tense, complete end-to-end second half that saw the teams share the spoils with a 3-3 final score.

Entertainment: I wish every game was as good. A draw was a fair reflection of the game and I think Crewe looked good tonight.

So the drive back home was a good one with high spirits from all :-D

He's a lot happier than he looks here, he wasn't impressed with me pointing a camera at him and decided to adopt a steely stare into the distance. He's a top father-in-law - someone who always makes me laugh.
