Thanksgiving countdown

I like Thanksgiving. Maybe because I am my father's daughter and I like food. Maybe because it's a weekday and everything gets very quiet. Maybe it's chilly but not often snowy. Good woods-walking weather. Maybe it's family gathering without the consumer pressures of Christmas. Maybe it's baking two blueberry crumble pies with Brookie. Yes. I think that's it.
