Craft Fair

Loaded up the car.
Headed off to Linlithgow.
Stopped on route to take some pictures of hay bales on the horizon.
Put out the advertising boards and banners.
Helped set out the tables.
Laid out the electrics for those that needed.
Set out my table.
Found I had left my own lights and wallet at home. Doh!

There was a collection of old cars outside in the square and as soon as I stuck my nose out I knew I had to go and get pictures of the Jaguar ……. my Dad had the same model when I was a youngster and it brought back a lot of memories.   I am sure the headlight units were the same as the ones in my first Mini.

I had 'guest' crafters on either side of me today - one was a specialist fudge and tablet maker (the chocolate whisky fudge is fantastic) and the other was a 'felter' making some lovely wee felt animals. Near the end of the day she handed me 6 tiny birds to go on my miniature bird houses. What a lovely lady - and it might stop some of the brain deads asking what kind of bird are the wee houses for.

End of the fair and it was the reverse of setting everything out before heading for home and a cup of tea ……………. knackered.
