Lynne and I caught various buses to explore the Coastal Hopper service that runs all along the North Norfolk Coast. We stopped at Wells-Next-The-Sea and walked the mile path that gets you to the sea.
The extra's : Iron Horse sculpture that commemorates the horses that used to pull the life boats to the sea. The story goes that the horses would run to the harnessing gate as soon as the alarm sounded.
Starlings in their clever roost. I see few starlings in Norwich was both surprised and delighted to see loads of them in Wells. I know they migrate, so perhaps this lot were arrivals
The beach huts at Wells ( very expensive )
View from the path.
Lynne and I both declared we were tired on the bus back but had enjoyed a great day out.
