They love each other

In a bid to keep the youngest a bit quiet and not exhaust him too much, we went shopping.  Hardly the most exciting, nor our preferred activity on a Saturday, but a necessity.  The boys both needed new shoes - the summer sandals aren't quite up to the job that autumn will throw at them.  They love getting new shoes (as do I!), but the eldest really got into it this time and it was great to have him pick out the shoes he liked the best - and to see how proud he is of them. I think that time has come when I can't buy him things because I like them, we both have to like them these days. 

Youngest is still pretty tired, but doing so well and is basically better.  Having to remember to be a good parent and keep life pretty chilled for him.
