I didn’t get to Palma. I waited for the bus with Geoff to see his retrospective exhibition,. When it arrived, a group of British visitors barged in front of us and three South American girls who had obviously been working hard all day. By the time the elbows were out away, there was no more room.

Geoff managed to get to the gallery ok thanks to Ricardo, but with limited space I had to retreat. Little Agu and I decided to have our own installation on the terrace, with Ben presiding as chief critic. Agu won with “you can’t draw a straight line with an empty stomach”.
