Swan theatre

We decided to take up the offer of £10 tickets to see Tamburlaine at the RSC Swan theatre.

Despite reading the synopsis several times prior to the event, Technophobe and I struggled to keep up with the plot which basically circulated around 3 hours of gore and piles of bodies. The second half was easier to follow after we re-read the synopsis in the interval.

The seats were really uncomfortable but not as uncomfortable as the stabbings, hangings, starving and cutting out of tongues on the stage.
