Pumpkin Pieces

The kids have taken great pleasure in blowing up the remaining pumpkins. This started a couple of years back, BJ was introducing the kids to hunting, and in such, allowing them to shoot the BB gun... their target? The giant orange pumpkins.

It's an instant reward for a perfect shot... they've found that the BB gun barely penetrates the skin, the .243 implodes the bulbous fruit, and the .22 sends pumpkin pieces into the hay field.

Once Halloween is over, the Jack-O-Lanterns are turned into target practice and the remaining fruits are fair game.
