Dave Kelly and Gulliver Ellis

I took Gulliver to see Paul Jones (Manfred Mann) and Dave Kelly at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington, an accoustic Blues set of great guitar playing - lots of slide and Paul on Harmonica and both of them singing, they both told great stories and educated us on all the songs and the people who’d written and performed them. Gulli really enjoyed it and so did I, at the interval we met them both and bought some of their music, turns out Dave lives locally, he told Gulli to have a listen to the album and if there was anything he couldn’t work out how to do to give him a call and he gave us his number, how amazing is that?

This morning our wonderful friends and neighbours Kate and Tim came over and helped us move a wardrobe and a sofa bed into different rooms, it took a few hours but was good fun and I made us Salmon and cream cheese bagels, it’s always lovely to see them.
