3Amigos world Tour

It was a big day in Pleasant Point today our big steam engine AB699 was brought back into action after 5years. It has been totally stripped and maintained. The work being done by volunteers was huge especially since the main man lives in Christchurch 2hours drive away.
Hundreds and hundreds turned up to ride the train, the pipe band was playing, it was an incredible day and tonight it is doing a night run. I should be down there with my camera but have too much to do before heading to Dunedin tomorrow early.
It was just too much to think of taking the Amigos into the fray so instead they climbed up on the railing of the deck and watched from my terrace. Do look in extras to se AB699
