Missing some stars and marbles
If the food store was like this today, two days before Thanksgiving, I can't imagine what it'll be like tomorrow. Traversing the packed isles, passing by dozens of overloaded carts prominently featuring large, pale, raw, dead turkey corpses was DISGUSTING!!!!!!!! but the demure, live jazz trio next to the bread isle was lovely. Whoever thought up those gigantic, vehicle shaped shopping carts that are so popular with toddlers, ought to be...ought to be...stuffed and served for Thanksgiving. Children sometimes think that they have to provide the sound effect for those and while it's cute for a while, any encouragement by strangers such as: Oh aren't you having fun! or What a cool car, are you driving it?" usually results in the sound effect volume being turned up significantly and very rarely do the parents attempt to turn the volume down. Well aren't I a grumpy old witch.
Just as I wished, the breeze had died down when I got home. More pruning, bagging and leaf vacuuming happened and processing the pics from yesterday's shoot, bank recs, laundry, this, that, the other.
