... with the dry weather "drought" we are in at present the water levels are very low in the dams and water ways which are exposing some "hidden secrets"!

This old "american style sliprail fence post" has been exposed to show some of it's original qualities.
The hard wood used and use of this design dates to the 1850 era as shown here on the NSW Environment site.
Interesting reading if you are into that sort of thing!

Also found a grumpy Blue Wren - and a Purple Swamphen.
