Back Up System

We had a power cut for over 2 hours today, to be fair we don't get many nowadays, though it used to be quite a regular occurrence here. Had to get the old back up phone out of storage as the wireless ones don't work without power. I had to convert it to mono to hide the grubby marks on the handset!

We had a Sainsbury's delivery before the power went off and the very cheerful delivery driver advised us it was the first day of autumn today. It must be, because we've had to turn the heating on this afternoon.
