Saturday Workshop

An excellent day, led by the wonderful Donna Ratcliff.  She gave us two projects, a spooky multi media canvas for Halloween and a painted plate.
The plate was fascinating to do.  We painted a background onto rice paper, then chose a stencil ( I loved this dog ) to add an image.  This was then stuck to the back of the plate so that the design showed through the glass.  We finished  by painting the back to hide the reverse of the rice paper.  A lovely technique I am sure to use again.
