Romance and Adventure

It was all beautiful. Beautiful and Romantic. The Sun was glinting off the waves and she had a strong suspicion that he was going to propose. It was perfect. She couldn’t imagine things being any better. Well, if she was going to be really picky, it was a bit cold, but apart from that... Actually, come to think of it, it was really rather cold. She hoped he would get around to it soon. He did have an annoying tendency to take his time. If he was a bit more considerate and decisive, he would have got to the proposal by now and they would be in the car with the heater on. Not that the heater in his crappy car was very effective. The whole holiday had been his idea (which was so unusual that it gave her the first clue that he was planning to pop the Big Question). Given the choice, she would have been in Ibiza. Or Turkey like Sarah. Sarah and Ned. In fact, given the choice, she would have been in Turkey WITH Sarah’s Ned. But, on balance, without Sarah. So, this was all perfect, obviously, but there were just a few, tiny, improvements that she could have made - the temperature, location and the person she was with.
