Hover fly

Not hovering, but it was sitting on the end of this old jasmine flower tip preening itself for a few moments. Hover flies have funny faces (I think) - they look like they have a quite human profile - apart from the wiggly antennae bits, of course.

Funny old Melbourne weather - warm first thing in the morning and gradually got colder throughout the day.
