My New Pet

At the laptop this morning I caught something out of the corner of my eye. It was a garden spider that had spun a complete orb web between the bookcase, a chair and the ceiling. One of us must have brought it in on our clothing or fur as they're not usually seen indoors.

Ollie dog and I went for a walk at Lodge Farm this afternoon and shot deer, buzzards and a jay collecting acorns. When we arrived home our pet had caught a fly for tea. :)
