Make do and mend

Doing a bit of repair to some clothes. Not sure using cotton thread to repair two holes on this silk outer dress was a good idea but at least now I can wear it without it drawing too much attention. A good charity shop find.

Baked a fab cake today (banana, lemon and vanilla) turned out very well. I only used a little icing which was cream cheese and lime flavour (I wasn’t sure about it when I read the recipe but I love it). Next step, now I have the flavour working well is to get my icing looking a bit more fabulous! I’m definitely not a natural atcake decoration :-/
