Bikin'

Off for another long and hard ride, just trying to keep my leg strength and cardio up for our Tuesday night velodrome skill sessions. It was a gorgeous sunny day with a high of 21. My sweetie snuck out early to the club to unload the boat trailer from the races yesterday. we then had a quiet morning with the paper & coffee and did a quick housecleaning & made my favorite muffins for our expected guest. At 1:00 we had an appointment with our 1st (& preferred) Trusted Housesitter applicant to come stay in our home when we are In Australia for a month. We were thrilled with her, she does this as a fulltime job, going from one house sit to the next. She is a seasoned pro and perfect for us, and arrived with toys for our cat who was quite quickly smitten with her. We sealed the deal and will have 1 more face to face meeting before she moves in and takes over, very relieved to have located her - now to let the other 4 applicants know we have found someone already. I then did my ride...it was a great day.
