A different view across the bay

This is from Baycliff looking across Morecambe bay, with Ingleborough beyond and the Coniston fells out of shot to the left.  You could see everything from Fleetwood round to Barrow and it is clear why all this was once Lancashire.  The settlements and history of this part of the bay have much more in common with those across the sands than they do with upland Cumbria.
