Pear drops

I planted this pear tree almost 10 years ago . The pears are all about the size of a large plum so it is definitely a juggling act to leave them on the tree as long as possible but run the risk of them dropping to the ground . I subsequently learnt after planting that you plant a pear tree for your grandchildren not yourself as they take so long to come to fruition !
