From mountains to the sea

After two weeks of meandering among the Rockies in Canada it was pleasant to walk on the flat by the seashore without feeling any effect from high altitude. It is warmer too - a balmy 11 degrees instead of hovering around freezing point, as it has been for the last fortnight.
