Mellow Yellow

I saw this flower on the way to my folks' today. I liked the colour and I liked the spiky looking bits so I took a couple of photos on my phone. I was hoping there would be a good sunset tonight but it wasn't to be, hence this sunny yellow flower is my Blip!

When I got to my parents', my Dad was working/hiding in the garden as my Mum was driving him nuts! She started on me when I went in the house, bragging about her perfect eyesight, even at her age (lasers have played a part but she doesn't remember that at all!) and it's my fault that I have to wear glasses as I always had my nose in a book! She went on about it all the time I was there!

I had a headache and felt a bit dizzy before I got there, and it was worse when I left!

Once home I wrote a list for Tesco, then went off to get the shopping. I am glad now to be in and able to relax for a while!
