Productive day

By the time it was 9.30, the BG repair man had sorted my central heating and I’d bought four tickets for “The Queen of Spades”, the Tchaikovsky opera to be performed at Covent Garden in January.

All that, and the sun was shining brightly and the day was too good to waste. I started off at Forage, our super new deli where there were some delicious bargains, and then I headed for Middleton Lakes RSPB Reserve.

Just delightful. Friendly people, friendly birds and dragonflies, and still warm sunshine.....

Now that’s what I call a productive day (so maybe I can watch another episode of “Killing Eve”, a guilty pleasure.)
