An Optical Illusion For Tiny Tuesday

I have had my eye on this tiny magnolia leaf for a few days, hoping it wouldn't have grown any before Tuesday.  It appears to be growing out of this furry bud, but is actually close behind it.  I had to touch it to check that they were separate.
