Poros

Poros, our island home for three days, is really two islands joined by a little bridge. Sferia, the smallest island, is a hill of volcanic origin and on its slopes are the pretty houses of Poros town.

After a morning at the beach, Sarah and I spent the afternoon exploring the town and climbing to the top where we had a great view all around. In this photo we are looking down to the clock tower (built in 1927) and across to the mainland and the town of Galatas.

I had trouble choosing which photo to blip today so I've put the rest in an album which you can see on my FB page HERE should you wish.
