Enjoying the morning sun in Mote Park

An expensive walk into town this morning. We both went for eye tests and new glasses which with all the add ons came to a fair whack.

Took ages to get tests done and specs selected but we were eventually out and away walking home through Mote Park where today’s blip was taken. Ended up with a late lunch. Didn’t feel much like going to the allotment, could have had an afternoon snooze really.

But I went and did battle with the legions of weeds as well as pulling up beetroot, picking some apples and one lone final courgette. Made only a tiny impression on the digging that needs to be done. We’ll get there.
