Strawberry slop

Took my mum and her friend to Cairnie fruit farm on Sunday. I was hoping to pick blackberries but disappointingly they had all gone. Only strawberries left and so we each picked a punnet which I was then obliged to do something constructive with - even I can't eat that amount of strawberries. And so today I made jam and, as always happens, it hasn't set. I don't think my hob must get the jam to the right temperature, yes, I did use the right kind of sugar. The fact that i don't like jam probably doesn't help either!
