The wonderful 16th century roof in Blythburgh Church. Known as The Cathedral of the Marshes. The site of the church is one of the earliest Christian sites in East Anglia. The bodies of Anglian King Anna and his son were brought here after the battle of Bulcamp in 654.
The current building dates from the 15th century. After a couple of centuries of neglect it was renovated in the 19th century.
