Such a lovely day!

Weather a bit wet and windy, but after a slow start (to wait for my wobbliness to pass), we headed to Lerwick.

We knitted at the hub, met friends, made new friends, visited an exhibition and some local shops - especially wool shops, of course!

In the evening we joined a drop-in session hosted by local knitters and spinners. Such a warm welcome! Knitting and chatting were followed by 'eight o'clocks' - a wonderful spread of home bakes and sandwiches.

What fun this is! We are discussing plans for our return next year already!
